J.K.R will tour through America in October

This morning Joanne K. Rowling announced on her website that she plans to tour the USA this October.
This is her first tour since 2000. This tour will include 4 events, three of them for schoolchildren in Los Angeles, New Orleans and New York City. The fourth event will be in New York City as well, for every fan who is lucky enough to win a ticket.
The event in LA will be in the Kodak theothre on Monday, October 15th, in New Orleans at the Ernet N. Morial Auditorium at the Convention Center on Thursday, October 18th; and at New York's Carnegie Hall on Friday, October 19th. These events are just open for schoolchildren of schools whch will be selected in September.
The fourth event will be open to thousands of readers of all ages in Carnegie Hall on Friday October 19 at 7 p.m.
