The International Network of Harry Potter Websites prepares a birthday Present for Rupert and all of you have the chance to be a part of it!
As many of you might know, Rupert Grint, who portrays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies celeberates his 20th birthday on August 24th!
The DA prepares a present for him and everybody who wants can contribute to it. Rupert owns a Mini, a classic Ice Cream Van and a 50’ Chevy Pick Up Truck, so it’s obvious that he loves cars. What you can do now is describing your favourite classic car or if you do not like classics you can describe your favourite modern car as well and send the description to us. We are going to compile all of them and send them to Rupert as a birthday present.
A description should follow this guide as good as possible:
Accurate termination of the car (Brand, type, etc)
Your Name
Technical Specifications (Power, Torque, Top Speed, Displacement, Consumption, etc.)
Backgrounds on the production line When where those cars produced? What kind of car is it (was it an expensive car when it came out, what sort of people were driving those cars, etc.) Is there anything else interesting about this production line?
Why do you like this car: What does impress you about this car?
Relation to that car: Is it your dreamcar? Did you ever get to see one or do you only admire pictures of it? Or do your parents, other relatives or other people you know own such a car? Or are you the proud owner yourself?
You are alowed to send in up to 4 pictures (limited to 100kb/img) of that car in – one at least is not compulsory but requested since the description would look very boring without a picture.
However, that’s part one of that present. In case you are absolutely not interested in cars, neither in classics nor in modern ones you can do one of the following points instead.
For part 2 of the present you can tell Rupert about your favourite Music, Song, Band or Interpret.
Be creative, write some paragraphs about what sort of music you like, what musicians, backgrounds, why you like this music, etc.
Or you can let Rupert know good Ice Cream Reciepes as well! This is part 3 of the present!
We are not sure about a closing date now, but there is around a month time for sending in submissions, so you have enough time to make some really good (classic) car descriptions, or alternatively descriptions on your favourite music or Ice Cream Reciepes
