The actress who portrays Bellatrix Lestrange becomes 42 today.
Helena Bonham Carter was born in Golders Green, London, on May 26th, 1966.
She was cast as Bellatrix Lestrange after Helen McCrory, who basically was considered for the role, became pregnant.
From 1994 until 1999 she lived together with Kenneth Branagh, who played Gilderoy Lockhart in Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets.
Since 2001 she's engaged to director Tim Burton. In 1999 Burton directed "Sleepy Hollow" with Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore since PoA) as Baltus van Tassel, Miranda Richardson (Rita Skeeter) as Lady van Tassel and Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon Dursley) as Magistrate Philipse.
