According to a new article by The Boston Globe John Williams might be involved in the soundtrack of HBP. He's well known among Harry Potter fans for having composed the scores of Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban.
Apart from interesting information about Williams performing some of his Potter scores in Boston later this week, the article says that he is hard at work on several soundtracks including HBP. But as was revealed back in November, Nicholas Hooper is set to score the sixth film.
So what's the matter with this? A quick check on IMDB reveals that Williams is credited for the Harry Potter theme in HBP. The theme was originally composed for Sorcerer's Stone and has been used for every film since.
So probably the newspaper has mistakes this information. We'll let you know as soon as we hear more about it.
Cheers
Thomas
